playdesk for esports venues

Tournament nights and walk-in play in the same room

Esports venues have a scheduling problem most gaming cafes don't. A Valorant team wants five PCs side by side every Thursday, a school club wants twelve for a Saturday bracket, and walk-ins still expect to find a free seat. In playdesk every PC is a bookable station on one calendar, so the front desk can see which seats are held for the bracket and which are open for walk-ins.

On the night, stations are timed and billed like any other session, or you can sell a tournament entry as an item at the POS. Snacks and drinks go on the same bill, and the daily reports show what an event night brought in compared with a normal Thursday.

FAQ

Questions about playdesk for esports venues

How much does playdesk cost for esports venues?

$14 a month for each station, with every feature included. A venue with 8 stations pays $112 a month. There's no setup fee and no contract, and in some countries the price is lower.

Can a whole team go on one bill?

Yes. Open one tab for the team and put all five stations on it, plus whatever they order. At the end, pay it as one or split it between the players.

Can I charge an entry fee for a tournament?

Yes. Add the entry fee as an item in the POS and sell it like anything else. It shows up in your sales reports next to session time.

Can customers book esports PCs and team stations online?

Yes. Customers with an account can book esports PCs and team stations themselves, and your front desk adds phone bookings and walk-ins to the same calendar. Everyone sees the same availability, and two people can't take the same slot.

Is session time billed automatically?

Yes. The timer starts with the session and bills the time actually played at that space's rate. Paused time isn't charged, and you can set a minimum charge. Nobody needs a stopwatch.

Does it include a point of sale?

Yes. Food, drinks, retail and add-ons go through the same POS and onto the same bill as the session. Kitchen orders show up in a live queue on the kitchen's screen.

Can I try playdesk before paying?

Yes. You get 14 days free, and you don't need a card to start.
