The big difference
Most venues don't stay table-only
Snooker halls add a PS5 corner. Pool bars add darts. Sports centres run padel next to futsal. With playdesk, the new thing goes on the same tabs, the same till and the same reports. A group can play an hour of pool, move to a console, order food and pay one bill.

Questions from cue hall owners
Is playdesk any good if I only have snooker and pool tables?
Yes. Table timers billed to the minute, peak and off-peak rates, the bar on the same bill, split bills and regulars on credit are all there.
Can I add a PS5 corner or a table tennis table later?
Yes. Add it as a new space in the same venue. It gets its own rate and rules, and it goes on the same tabs, till and reports as your tables.
Can playdesk switch my table lights on and off?
No. playdesk doesn't control lights or other hardware. If automatic table lights matter to you, a system sold with light controllers will suit you better.
Can I print receipts?
Not yet. Printed and emailed receipts are being built now. You can see where it is on our roadmap.
