Let regulars prepay, or settle up at the end of the month
Your regulars can top up a wallet so they're not paying cash every visit, or put games on credit up to a limit you choose. Every dollar in and out is on a ledger.
What's included
How the balance works
Top up by cash or card
Add money to a customer's wallet at the desk. Cash top-ups are added to the till record too.
A credit limit per customer
Decide who can play now and pay later, and how far. A credit payment can take the balance below zero, down to their limit and no further.
Credit cleared first
Wallet and credit share one balance. When someone who owes you tops up, the debt is paid off before anything goes into the wallet.
A ledger for every movement
Each top-up and payment is a line with the balance after it, the bill it paid, a reference and who did it.
Voids leave a trail
Voiding a top-up adds a reversing line rather than deleting anything. Voiding a bill puts the wallet money back.
What you're holding and owed
Reports show the total sitting in customer wallets and the total owed on credit, apart from your takings.
One regular, one month
Imran tops up $100 and plays three times a week
Imran puts $100 on his wallet in cash. Two evenings of snooker take it down to $26.
You've given him a $50 credit limit, so on Thursday he plays a $46 session even though his wallet's nearly empty. His balance goes to −$20.
Next week he tops up another $100. The $20 he owed is paid off first, and $80 goes on his wallet. The ledger shows every step, with who was at the desk each time.

FAQ
Wallet & credit questions
Is wallet money counted as revenue?
The dashboard shows the total in customer wallets and the total owed on credit as balances, on their own. Takings come from what's been paid on bills.
Can I give bonus credit, like $110 for $100?
Not yet. Memberships with prepaid credit and member rates are one of the next things we're building, and bonus top-ups belong with them.
Does wallet money expire?
No. A balance stays until it's spent.
Can customers top up from their phone?
Not yet. Top-ups are taken at the desk by cash or card. Online payments come after we connect a card provider.
Can someone without a customer record pay from a wallet?
No. Wallet and credit payments only work on a bill that belongs to that customer, so nobody spends someone else's balance by accident.
