Let the group pay the way they want
Tables, PCs and food go on one running tab. When it's time to pay, split it five ways, or let one player settle up and go while the game carries on.
What's included
From the first frame to the last payment
One tab, several spaces
A group that starts on pool and moves to a PS5 stays on one tab. Sessions on any number of spaces are listed together.
Players on the session
Add players as they arrive and remove them if they never played. Each one is linked to a customer record.
Give each player their share
Hand out table time and food equally, item by item, or by hand. playdesk won't let you hand out more time than the session ran.
Five ways to split
Equally, by exact amounts, by percentage, by shares like 2:1:1, or an equal share with a few dollars added or taken off one person.
Pay and leave early
A player who has to go can check out and pay while the rest keep playing. The next bill only picks up what's still owed.
Discounts in one tap
Save your usual discounts and surcharges, like a student discount or a late-night fee, and apply them to a bill in one tap. The bill records who applied it.
One official bill
The main bill always holds every line and every tax. Splits and player shares hang off it, so your takings are never counted twice.
Write-offs kept apart
If the last player leaves and something's still unpaid, write it off. Reports show write-offs on their own, not mixed in with discounts.
Four friends, one table
Table 2 from 8:00 to 10:30, $30 of table time and $36 of food
Omar has an early start and leaves at 9:15. Staff give him his 75 minutes of table time and his burger, he pays $16.50 by card, and the table keeps running.
At 10:30 the other three settle the remaining $49.50. They split it equally, except Sam pays $6 more because the extra drinks were his. That's the adjustment split: an equal share, with a set amount added for one person and taken off the others.
Each share is its own bill, so Ali can pay by card and Jo in cash. If they change their minds before anyone has paid, the split can be undone.
Table 2 · tab T-017
- Omar · left at 9:15 · card

FAQ
Tabs & split bills questions
Can players pay with different methods?
Yes. A bill can take several payments by cash, card, wallet or credit. Wallet and credit can only be used by the customer the bill belongs to.
What happens if someone leaves without paying?
When the last player checks out, anything still unallocated can be written off. It shows in your reports as a write-off, separate from discounts, so you can see how much walks out of the door.
Can I undo a split?
Yes, until any share of it has been paid.
Can I limit who gives discounts?
Discounts and write-offs are tied to staff roles, and each one records who applied it. A per-person discount limit with a manager PIN isn't built yet.
Does each player get a receipt?
Not yet. Every share is its own bill on screen, but printed and emailed receipts are still being built.
