Point of Sale

POS built for venues, not retail counters

One till for table time, food and drinks and retail. It's connected to the timers and the bookings, so nobody matches up bills by hand at the end of the night.

What's included

What the till can do

One bill per table

Session time, food and drink and retail all go on the same bill, so the group pays once.

A real menu

Sizes and variants with their own price, modifiers like extra cheese or no ice, and combos such as a burger, fries and a drink.

Live kitchen queue

Orders land on the kitchen's screen straight away and move from sent to preparing, ready and served. Late orders are flagged.

Split bills

Split equally, by amount, by percentage or by shares. A player who has to leave early can pay their share and go.

Wallet & pay-later credit

Regulars pay from a balance they topped up, or put it on credit up to the limit you set.

Counter orders

Someone at the bar who isn't playing? Ring the order up against the bar or lounge instead of a table.

Refunds & voids

Refund by payment method, never more than that method took. Voiding a bill puts any wallet money back.

Menu & sales reports

Best sellers, items that never sell, combos, modifiers and sales by staff member, for any date range.

Who uses it

Gaming lounges, sports clubs and entertainment venues

The same till handles PC time, court hire and a plate of nachos.

01

Gaming & esports venues

PC and console time, energy drinks, and wallet top-ups so regulars don't pay cash every visit.

02

Sports & court venues

Court hire, a coaching add-on and a new grip from the pro shop, all on one bill.

03

Entertainment centers

Attraction bookings, the snack bar and the gift counter through the same till.

FAQ

POS questions

Does playdesk POS work with session-based billing?

Yes. It's built around it. Table or court time and anything sold at the till end up on the same bill, and the time is worked out from when the session actually ran.

Does POS work for food and beverage sales?

Yes. Food, drinks, retail and accessories all go through the same till as your bookings. Items can have variants, modifiers and combos, and orders go to a live kitchen queue.

Can customers split the bill?

Yes. Split equally, by exact amounts, by percentage or by shares, and each share becomes its own bill. Players can also check out one at a time before the session ends.

Does it connect to my card machine?

Not yet. Keep using the card terminal you have and record the payment as card in playdesk. Your takings and cash-up still add up because every method is tracked separately.

Can it print kitchen tickets and customer receipts?

Not yet. Kitchen orders show on a screen in the kitchen today. Printed kitchen tickets and printed or emailed receipts are being built now.

Does it track stock?

Not yet. You can see what sold and what didn't, but stock levels and low-stock alerts are on the roadmap rather than in the product today.
